Free Community Day
Once a year, we open the gates and invite the community to wander Willow Hill — no tickets, no pressure, just a chance to explore.
Stroll the historic Little Chicago boardwalk, step inside our unique guest accommodations, wander the Enchanted Forest and interpretive trails, read the stories behind the land, and enjoy some peaceful nature while the kids run free.
This year’s open house will include short stories of Little Chicago, sharing the real history of the foothills oil boom and how it inspired the boardwalk and signage you see today. These will run will run throughout the afternoon and are optional to join.
